At the asylum, ConaLee navigates her new role as a nurse, building daily routines with Eira and Hexum while Eliza quietly grows stronger under Dr. Story's care. Dr. Story's growing affection for Eliza transforms the atmosphere of the asylum, even as Papa's escape places everyone in danger.
