Water follows Vanessa Carvin, who isolates herself on a remote Irish island after her husband Brendan's conviction for assaulting eight young swimmers and the suicide of her daughter Emma. Haunted by her own inaction — she once refused Emma's request for a bedroom lock — Vanessa must confront her role as an enabler before she can begin to heal. In Earth, Evan Keogh stands trial as an accomplice to rape, having filmed his teammate Robbie assault a woman named Lauren Mackintosh; threatened by the powerful Lord Wolverton, he stays silent through the verdict but eventually turns over the buried evidence. Fire follows Dr. Freya Petrus, a predator who targets teenage boys as revenge for her own childhood assault, until one of her victims — now a medical student named Aaron — confronts and reports her. Evan's path from island runaway to football star is traced through a chain of exploitations: recruited by a predatory man named Rafe, abused by a secretive powerful client, and drawn into Robbie's orbit through his athletic talent. In the courtroom, Lauren's testimony is systematically attacked by the defense barrister, who uses details from Lauren's past to cast doubt on her account before the jury. In Water, a mysterious phone call during the family's holiday marks the beginning of the Carvin family's collapse, while a long-held secret — that Emma confessed Brendan's abuse to Rebecca the very night she died — is finally brought into the open. In Earth, Evan's controlled public mask slips entirely during a private breakdown with Ifechi outside the courthouse, and his mother's quiet disbelief on the day of the verdict reveals the full cost of his lying. Fire is defined by Freya's buried past: the twins who raped and buried her in a crate, the act of arson she used as a child to reclaim some power, and the calculated murder of George when he becomes too dangerous. In Air, Aaron and Rebecca's fractured marriage is traced to its hopeful origins, Brendan's post-prison reappearance confirms he will never change, and a conversation on the beach finally allows both survivors to accept that their future is still worth building.

The hidden truths, emotional confrontations, and decisions that change everything.
