Highly secretive and easily exasperated, she acts as a strict keeper for the younger Lyctors on the Mithraeum.

The Saint of Patience and founder of the Fifth House is an easygoing soul magician who favors Ianthe over Harrow. Despite his relaxed demeanor and frequent jokes, he harbors long-held resentments and maintains extremely complicated personal ties with his fellow elder Lyctors.

Also known as the Saint of Duty, Gideon the First is an original Lyctor and founder of the Second House. A taciturn, heavily scarred man, he displays an unusual aptitude for martial weapons rather than necromantic displays. For reasons Harrow cannot fully understand, he frequently attacks her aboard the ship.

Originally meant to be the cavalier of the Ninth House, Ortus is a soft-spoken man who deeply fears physical violence. In Harrow's surgically altered mind, however, he serves as her loyal companion at Canaan House, constantly quoting lines from his favorite epic poem, the *Noniad*.

The former necromancer of the Sixth House is a brilliant and highly analytical scholar. After seemingly perishing during the events at Canaan House, he successfully tethered his soul to fragments of his own skull to avoid total death, continuing his dedicated research from the spirit waters.

The fiercely loyal cavalier of the Sixth House survived the carnage of Canaan House and escaped with the rebel group Blood of Eden. She fights with quiet, deadly efficiency using dual knives and remains completely dedicated to protecting the physical remains of her necromancer.

The true necromancer of the Seventh House, whose identity was stolen by an imposter in the previous trials. Within the River's pocket dimensions, the real Dulcinea reveals herself to be genuinely tender, friendly, and deeply insightful about Harrow's fractured state.

The legendary cavalier of the Seventh House. Though his physical body was utilized as a macabre puppet by enemies in life, his true spirit is gregarious and highly educated in classical poetry, as well as an exceptionally skilled fighter.

The beautiful, regal Crown Princess of the Third House and Ianthe's twin sister. She entirely lacks necromantic abilities but compensates with extreme charisma. Officially presumed dead by the Empire, she secretly travels alongside the Blood of Eden.

The former cavalier of the Third House. Though physically deceased, his soul lives on as an unwilling battery for Ianthe, manifesting his ongoing rage through her painful bodily dysphoria and complete rejection of her donor arm.
