Characterized by his massive appetites and lack of moral restraint, he hosts debauched celebrations while besieging the Israelites. His arrogance leads him to demand the captured Judith be brought to his tent, severely underestimating his captive.

The Almighty Creator acts as the invisible but ever-present force guiding the Israelites.
