Blake, Annaliese, and their friends Kuri, Clay, and Preston stay late at the lake house, moving from the dock to the living room as the temperature drops. During drunk charades and never-have-I-ever, Blake becomes uncomfortable with the sexual turn of conversation and quits, alongside Annaliese. Blake exchanges heated texts with Isaac, who refuses to return her toaster and belittles her. Preston argues that athletes’ partners accept infidelity for the lifestyle, but Blake insists she wants fidelity. She realizes she was merely Isaac’s “arm candy.”
When Clay wanders upstairs alone, Blake follows, wary of guests who have previously stolen memorabilia. She finds him admiring a Stanley Cup photograph on the landing. He tries to pull her close and asks for a kiss, but she refuses. Wyatt appears and slams Clay against the wall, dislodging the framed photo, which tumbles down the stairs. After Wyatt threatens Clay and sends him away, Clay kicks the frame, shattering it. Annaliese insists Wyatt has strong feelings for Blake, but Blake dismisses the idea.
Later, Blake knocks on Wyatt’s bedroom door. He asks to unbraid her hair, and she agrees. The intimate act arouses her. He touches her face, whispers that she is beautiful, then abruptly leaves, saying her hair has inspired a new song.
