Now dying of lung cancer, Figg tells Jones that he has “some thoughts” on who the real killer might be but refuses to elaborate further.

Part 2, Chapter 16 Summary

In Toronto, reality-TV star Cole Lennox is ambushed by a paparazzo named Asher Kaye. Cole, whose husband, Jordan, is embroiled in an embezzlement scandal that has frozen their assets, desperately needs to secure her contract for the next season of Trophy Wives. Asher taunts her about Jordan’s crimes before revealing that new photos of Jordan cheating are being circulated. He shows Cole pictures on his phone of Jordan in a hotel room with a blonde woman. Cole recognizes the woman from her signature pink cocktail and pretends to be unfazed. After escaping into the building’s bathroom, she takes a large swig of Irish cream whiskey from the bottle in her bag.
