Story Recap Summary: “Previously on—”

Cameron, a former member of Samkiel’s guard, The Hand, recaps the events of the first two books in the series, leading up to the current story. After the death of Unir (king of the gods), his son Samkiel destroyed Rashearim (home of the gods), shattering his family. Samkiel, now king, abandoned his people for centuries before returning with Dianna, a powerful, fire-wielding Ig’Morruthen whose arrival exposed long-buried secrets. Vincent, a celestial warrior with the power to heal, proved a traitor working with Samkiel’s brother, Kaden, to turn The Hand, into mindless soldiers. Kaden also used knowledge of Cameron’s best friend and love, Xavier’s, whereabouts to control Cameron. Three hidden children of the god Unir were freed and now seek revenge on Samkiel. Nismera rules all realms. Samkiel is believed dead, his power scattered across the sky. Cameron hopes Dianna will retaliate and wants, if he must die, to do so beside Xavier.

Chapter 1 Summary: “Camilla”

Camilla, the witch queen that Nismera—the current ruler of the 12 realms—wants to channel as a power source, is dragged by Vincent through a portal that opens into a bright, peaceful city.
