Olivia and Connor continue exploring Annie’s list with the twins, visiting Grange Hall. Olivia feels disheartened when she realizes that it’s not the location of the mysterious tractor photo labeled “Summer camp.” Her distress deepens after a difficult phone call with Annie, during which her grandmother struggles to remember Olivia’s name and calls her a “snot.”
The next day, Olivia confides in Ashley, who offers comfort and understanding based on her own family’s experience with Alzheimer’s disease. That evening, Olivia, Connor, Nick, and Sage attend a beach bonfire with the Fox family. There, Olivia learns that Meredith and her boyfriend, Wit, are building a house designed by Christian, a retired architect. While observing Andrew sketching, Olivia has a revelation, suspecting that he might be the artist connected to her grandmother.
Olivia and Connor plan a trip to Chappaquiddick to find a bridge from one of her grandmother’s photos. Before leaving, Olivia speaks with Topper and learns more about Andrew’s romantic past, fueling her suspicion that he was Annie’s summer love. On Chappaquiddick beach, Olivia and Connor grow closer while discussing their futures—Connor has a clear career path, while Olivia feels uncertain about hers.
Their day takes a dramatic turn when Connor suffers a severe allergic reaction to his lunch.
