Their relationship exposes how the clubs’ territorial hostility endangers the people caught between them: Landon nearly kills Killian after learning of the relationship, and a former friend’s faked suicide is revealed to be part of a Serpents plot to ignite war between the factions. God of Pain (2022) follows Annika Volkov, Jeremy’s sheltered younger sister, and Creighton King, a quiet REU student haunted by his biological father’s murder and his mother’s attempted murder-suicide. Landon manipulates Creighton into committing arson at the Heathens’ mansion in exchange for information about Creighton’s traumatic past, and Nikolai Sokolov retaliates by knocking Creighton unconscious with a baseball bat. Brandon King, God of Fury’s protagonist, appears here as a peripheral figure whom Annika considers as a potential fake boyfriend, establishing his reputation as the polite, controlled counterpart to his volatile twin.

God of Wrath (2022) centers on Cecily Knight, who infiltrates the Heathens’ initiation on Landon’s behalf and becomes involved with Jeremy Volkov through an anonymous kink-matching app. Landon covertly assists the Serpents in setting a second fire at the Heathens’ mansion, injuring Jeremy and deepening the rift between clubs. Cecily’s arc reveals the series’ recurring pattern of past trauma perpetuated by silence: She conceals a history of attempted sexual assault by a former boyfriend, and the secret corrodes her ability to trust Jeremy until she finally discloses it. God of Ruin pairs Landon himself with Mia Sokolov, Nikolai’s selectively mute twin sister, a relationship conducted in secret that provokes Nikolai’s protectiveness and sets the stage for one of God of Fury’s central conflicts.
