On a first-class flight en route to St. Barth’s, Tucker and Sabrina are seated behind a constantly bickering middle-aged couple, Harold and Marcia. During the flight, Sabrina discusses two job offers she’s weighing: a high-pressure role at Billings, Bower, and Holt, a prestigious criminal-defense firm, and a less demanding position at a civil-defense firm called Fischer and Associates, which would allow her to spend more time with Tucker and Jamie. As she weighs the two options, Sabrina struggles to balance her long-held career ambitions with her growing desire for a better work-life balance. Tucker encourages her not to give up on her dream, promising his full support regardless of the long hours. Later, Sabrina smells smoke, and the plane begins an unexpected descent. The captain announces that they will be making an emergency landing in Jacksonville, Florida, due to a mechanical malfunction. As the crew prepares the cabin, the passengers are instructed to get into the brace position as the aircraft prepares for the emergency landing.

The plane lands safely in Jacksonville. An airline representative informs the passengers that the emergency was caused by a minor electrical failure in the aircraft wiring that made the in-flight entertainment system short out. Shaken by the near-death experience, Sabrina immediately drafts a will on the back of their flight confirmation, designating Tucker’s mother as Jamie’s legal guardian. After a significant delay, they finally take a new plane to St. Maarten and then a ferry to St. Barth’s. They arrive at Villa le Blanc, Dean’s luxurious family vacation home, where they find a welcome note from his parents, Lori and Peter. As they settle into the villa, the stress of the day gradually fades. Exhausted but relieved, Tucker and Sabrina have sex and shower in the master suite’s outdoor shower, officially beginning their honeymoon.

Determined to put the previous day’s emergency behind her and enjoy their honeymoon, Sabrina is horrified to find Alexander, the haunted porcelain doll, in the kitchen. Their housekeeper, Isa, explains that Dean sent it as a wedding present. After an angry phone call with Dean, Sabrina has Tucker throw the doll into the ocean. Later, while they’re swimming at their private beach, a jellyfish stings Tucker. Sabrina suggests the folk remedy of peeing on the sting, but Tucker refuses. Their new neighbor, Bruce, approaches and offers to pee on the wound, but he’s stopped by his partner, Kevin, who debunks the myth as an old wives’ tale. Kevin, who has been stung before, advises running it under a hot shower or soaking the sting in hot water for 20 to 40 minutes and taking pain medication. As a friendly gesture, he and Bruce invite Sabrina and Tucker to their house for dinner the next night.

While relaxing on the beach the following day, Sabrina learns from her friends’ group chat that Grace and Logan secretly eloped in Vermont over New Year’s. Allie and Hannah had only stumbled onto the news at Sabrina and Tucker’s own wedding, by which point Grace and Logan had already been married for months. During the teasing, Allie suddenly announces that Hannah is pregnant. In the chat, Hannah confirms the pregnancy but admits that she hasn’t yet told Garrett and is still unsure how she wants to handle the situation. She pleads with her friends to keep it a secret from the guys until she can tell him herself. Sabrina agrees, resolving to keep the news from Tucker.

At dinner at Kevin and Bruce’s villa, Tucker mentions that he gets bored and feels antsy because his bar business runs so efficiently that he has too much free time. They learn that Bruce is a successful fitness influencer and that Kevin is a senior partner at a New York law firm that handles wrongful-conviction cases. On the walk home, Sabrina confronts Tucker for hiding his occasional restlessness about work; he explains that while he sometimes feels restless, he didn’t want to add to her stress while she was finishing her final year of law school. Tucker then compliments Sabrina, they kiss, and he brings her to orgasm while she’s pressed against a palm tree on the path. Immediately after, a coconut falls from the tree and strikes Sabrina on the head, knocking her unconscious.

After Sabrina regains consciousness, Tucker carries her back to the house because she’s dizzy. He worries that she may have a concussion, but she answers his questions and spends the next day resting. While she recovers, Tucker goes deep-sea fishing with Kevin and Bruce. Upon his return, he finds that Sabrina has fallen asleep on the beach and is now severely sunburned. She points out that he also has a bad sunburn on his stomach. Their day worsens when Kevin and Bruce call them over to the water’s edge to show them what has just washed ashore: Alexander the doll. Upon seeing the doll’s return, Sabrina cries.

While trying to soothe their painful sunburns, Sabrina suggests that they cut their disastrous trip short and go home. Her comment sparks an argument that escalates into a major fight on the beach that evening. Tucker accuses Sabrina of failing to make their relationship a priority and voices his concern that her demanding career will leave no time for him. Sabrina counters that he’s passive-aggressive and never communicates his needs honestly. Furious, Tucker storms off in their rented Jeep, intending to get a drink in town alone. Kevin and Bruce, who live nearby and overheard the fight, appear. At Sabrina’s request, Bruce follows Tucker to make sure he stays safe. While Kevin comforts Sabrina, Bruce later calls to report that Tucker has been arrested.

At the local jail, Bruce explains that a man began shouting at Tucker in a bar and that the police later arrested Tucker based on the man’s allegations of shoplifting and vandalism. With Kevin translating, Sabrina acts as Tucker’s lawyer and confronts the shift supervisor. Citing the complete lack of evidence and threatening a false-imprisonment lawsuit against the department, she successfully secures Tucker’s release. Back at the villa, they apologize to each other. They acknowledge their respective faults in the argument and promise to communicate more openly and honestly in the future while agreeing to postpone decisions about their careers until after the honeymoon.

On the last morning of their now-peaceful honeymoon, Kevin and Bruce visit with two major proposals. Kevin, having reviewed Sabrina’s Harvard transcripts, spoken with her professors, and run a complete background check, offers her a job with manageable hours and schedule flexibility at his Manhattan firm, Ellison and Kahn, working on wrongful-conviction cases. Simultaneously, Bruce offers Tucker a partnership to help launch a brick-and-mortar extension of his fitness brand in Manhattan. Stunned by the offers, Tucker and Sabrina spend their taxi ride to the marina discussing the logistics of a potential move to New York. During that same ride, they decide to prank Garrett and Hannah by shipping Alexander to them. They agree to put a pin in the New York decision until they’re back home in Boston.
