Plot Summary

Adalyn Reyes, the head of communications for the Miami Flames FC, finds her meticulously controlled life spiraling after a video of her violent confrontation with the team’s mascot, Sparkles, goes viral online. The outburst was triggered by Adalyn overhearing her ex-boyfriend, David, the team’s VP of operations, bragging to the man in the mascot costume, Paul, about only dating Adalyn to secure a promotion from her father, Andrew Underwood, the team’s CEO. Instead of firing Adalyn, Andrew exiles his daughter to Green Oak, North Carolina, on a “philanthropic initiative” to manage a struggling local soccer team.
